Hi, luvs! Getting ready for the weekend? I have no special plans, but my sister did give me my birthday presents a little early since I won't see her until after Tuesday. :) Got some good swag, including a gift card to the local movie theater. Much appreciated, Sis! :)
I started writing my S/B story for the A Dark Knight In Smallville zine and when I was waiting for my Movie Night buddies last week, outlined practically the whole thing in a burst of creativity! Woot! :) I'm not sure how I'm going to end it yet, but the basics are in place and marching inexorably to the climax, so to speak! ;)
I had an idea for a Public Enemies Halloween story but got another idea that I might use instead. Not sure at this point. I can't quite get the hook for the first one, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time to write the second one. *ponders*
What's up with your writing or artwork? Snagged or inspired? Any Halloween bats, er, bunnies, hopping around? Pull up a comfy chair, grab a pumpkin latte and pumpkin muffin, and let's talk! ;)

Date: 2011-09-23 11:32 pm (UTC)I'm still loving your Rainbow's Freedom series. Can't believe it took me so long to pick up on it, because it's amazing.
As for my plot bunnies, lord, they want shooting. I've got so many stories on the go even I can't keep up anymore. And the plot bunnies keep multiplying *gulp*.
*Hugs* and birthday wishes.

Date: 2011-09-24 12:37 am (UTC)I'm glad you're enjoying Rainbow's Freedom. I can't believe I'm almost finished with the final arc! Just taking a break to concentrate on Big Bangs and Halloween goodies. ;)
Plot bunnies DO have that annoying tendency, don't they? Put out some carrots to corral a few of 'em! ;)
*hugs*

As for me, I have a bunch to do but not much creativity. I'm trying to finish my X-Men Big Bang fic and then I am hoping to work on my story for your Halloween challenge. There's other fics but those are my priorities, lol.

Your priorities are correct! ;)

Date: 2011-09-24 01:51 am (UTC)So far plans this weekend include hitting the gay community center in the city to raid their book sale (they have a library and they're getting rid of their duplicates) catching up on all the season premieres I've missed (which considering I missed most of the season finales I'm pretty much batting a thousand) and scribbling. And scribbling. And damnit - more scribbling. The Doubts sequel is 85/125 pages - the end is in sight (if a little far away and a bit hard to get to) and I basically only have the hard parts to do yet still. (Literally :) That and Canton (from DW) is once again making noise - I swear he picks the most awkward times...
And if I can get past the massive *thing* I've written myself into for "Doubts" - maybe cleaning my place. I'm not holding out much hope for that though :)

Date: 2011-09-24 02:11 am (UTC)Book sales are always fun. You never know what gems you'll find. My mother especially enjoyed going to sales. She and my father were great readers, and passed that down to my sister and me. :)
I'm pleased to hear that the PE sequel is going well. If you get a Halloween bunny, maybe you could write that as a little refresher. When I work on long projects I often veer off into side projects. :)
