Hi, luvs! I hope your Thanksgiving went well. Mine was quiet but very nice. The menu was turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, green beans almondine and cranberry sauce with an appetizer of salad and rolls. No room for pumpkin pie! ;)

'Tis done! *dances* After typing up the final two chapters, the story for the A Dark Knight In Smallville zine clocked in at 23,277 words. I started this story on 8/31/11 but didn't work on it again until 9/11/11. I completed it on 10/19/11.

Whew! As with my Big Bangs, there will be revising to do and other details, but the first draft is finished! :)

Thanks to everyone for encouraging me with this and all my Big Bangs! It's a big help to a writer to know that people care. :)

Hi, guys! Just a quickie entry here to keep my own mind organized, heh heh.

I've been working on coding the entries for the smallvillebbang story, keeping them unseen, of course, until the unveiling! Looks like it'll take three parts here on LJ to get it all done, and then I'll do a Master Post linking all three chapters, so you WILL be spammed somewhat the date of my posting. Sorry, can't be helped! :)

Still working like a crazy nut on the zine story, and it's hitting the homestretch! I'm kind of excited about that because the confrontation scene is coming up! :)

I'll be working on the first draft of Arc 9 of Rainbow's Freedom again after Halloween, but in the meantime new chapers of Arc 8 will be continued to be posted the rest of the month. I have about six chapters left to write on Arc 9, and then it's all over, my friends!

I'm really rolling on the final Public Enemies Halloween story and that's getting closer to the homestretch, too.

Yay, I'm FINALLY getting to some of my remaining ideas for my dcu_freeforall prompts! I had intended to work on those and then got derailed by the Big Bangs, LOL!

Hi, luvs! Time to regale you with natterings and stats on a new project of which I am a contributor, A Dark Knight In Smallville, a Superman/Batman fanzine. The numbers below are a little skewed, as I wrote a page on August 31st but didn't get back to writing on this project again until September 11th. Since then it's been work, work, work, every day! ;)

Also, I am apparently incapable of tackling any major project nowadays without it hitting 20,000 words, as this one will. *headdesk*

So, I've written several chapters in my notebook but have the first six typed up so here's the word count:

Hi, luvs! Getting ready for the weekend? I have no special plans, but my sister did give me my birthday presents a little early since I won't see her until after Tuesday. :) Got some good swag, including a gift card to the local movie theater. Much appreciated, Sis! :)

I started writing my S/B story for the A Dark Knight In Smallville zine and when I was waiting for my Movie Night buddies last week, outlined practically the whole thing in a burst of creativity! Woot! :) I'm not sure how I'm going to end it yet, but the basics are in place and marching inexorably to the climax, so to speak! ;)

I had an idea for a Public Enemies Halloween story but got another idea that I might use instead. Not sure at this point. I can't quite get the hook for the first one, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time to write the second one. *ponders*
