You know how I said I wasn't going to sign up for a Big Bang this year? Yeah, I did! *facepalms* It was killing me to see all these great Big Bangs announcing sign-up times and me with no time or ideas until I got one for the marvel_bang. I've been writing Steve/Tony for the past month, anyway, and managed to get 2,000 words already scribbled, so here I go! Just signed up! Oh, and there will be Natasha/Pepper, too! ;)

And hey, if someone hasn't seen the movie (and likely won't get to until it comes to a basic cable channel like FX or TNT), do you think that person can still read some of the fic with just the comic books as a reference? Now, I have no idea who Hawkeye and Black Widow are, but think the rest of the gang is familiar to me from back when. Captain America was always one of my favorites, and I have seen the first Iron Man movie, if that's any help.

By the way, have you heard the recent chatter about DC/Warner Bros. getting serious about a Justice League big screen movie? I don't want to get too excited because it's been talked about before only to get shot down, but with the Avengers movie doing blockbuster business, it might be closer to reality than before. We can but cross our fingers, of course.

I think you'd be fine reading the fic without seeing the movie, mindful that a lot of it has spoilers, of course. They've basically kept the origins for everyone that you're familiar with, and as for Hawkeye and Black Widow, they have been canon lovers off-and-on for years, and even stronger friends. Their personalities seem to pretty much match the comics, especially the Widow.

I hadn't heard that! I won't hold my breath but I'm not surprised that they might finally get off their duffs and do something about a JLA movie. They had the idea first and will look like copycats now, but it's their own fault for letting the project drop. And I hope they don't do individual movies like Marvel or we'll be old and gray before we see a JLA movie! ;)

Heh, I probably would have signed up there but sign-ups were long past so when marvel_bang came along, that fit. Besides, the story will have a lot of focus on other characters, too, so this particular Big Bang might be a better fit. :)

My original idea, which I still want to do but I need to brainstorm with someone over certain social/emotional plot holes would just be Steve and Tony.

The other one I'm hoping to tinker with today is going to bring in some other characters. Pepper at least. She needs to snark at Tony. A lot.

Steve/Peggy and Steve/Tony are my favorites.

And we always need Pepper to try to keep Tony from doing crazy, insane things...usually crazy insane things to save Steve. LOL

I kind of did the same for The Cap/IM one. I snooped through the Cap Kink and ended up finding this crazy, cracky prompt and I got my characters yapping at me. IDEK what is with this. LOL
