Fortress Of Good Fortune

The weather has been unusual this summer. Mostly coolish fall weather and lots of rain! Though as soon as the calender turned from August to September, we got a heat wave! We hd a few over the summer but they were of very short duration. We are currently building Noah's Ark. :)

Very strange summer for posting fic, too. Only one short story posted on July 6th. I guess that's dur to RL stress and working on a long-ish Halloween story that ironically might not be finished in time for the holiday.

Also another reason is my working on an original novel, close to 100,000 words, so less time for fanfic. Hopefully I can get an agent and get this published before I shuffle off this mortal coil. I've been trying to get an agent for my cozy mystery (approximately 50,000 words) but so far, just rejections. I kmow many famous writers get lots of rejections when they start out, too, but it gets discouraging. I worry I'm not good enough.
