Well, riffling through my draft folder, I realized that I had never posted my review for Captain America 3: Civil War! Oh, well, little chance anyone will be spoiled by now, but it'll be behind a cut just in case. It's unedited, so these were my first impressions. Enjoy!

Wow, just saw Captain America 3: Civil War! I give it an A- overall. The first Avengers and first two Captain America movies were A+ ratings for me, because they were nearly perfect. This film got a lower grade because I'm not a fan of the Civil War premise (hated it in the comics). I prefer my superheroes working together against a common foe instead of beating each other up. 

However, this film was leagues better than Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

( Paris was the best place to be in Europe during springtime. After a long Russian winter, Bruce and Dick were happy to walk freely again without all kinds of outerwear. Just a good tailored suit with hat and kid gloves was all that was necessary, and regular buttoned shoes instead of boots. Alfred was pleased as well. )

( On his way to the dining car he heard faint music. Intrigued, he followed the sound and reached a private car. He pushed open the door that was slightly ajar. )

I saw a very enjoyable movie, American Hustle, with my sister this vacation week. I would highly recommend it. Set in the 1970s, it centers around the FBI sting Abscam. It stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner. The first four have been nominated (Golden Globes) for Best Actor/Actress/Supporting and Jeremy should be, too. The film has been nominated for Best Comedy.

Many of the movie’s scenes were filmed in Central Massachusetts in a city called Worcester.

BTW, there is a comics connection here: Christian Bale, Amy Adam, and Jeremy Renner have all played comics characters: Bruce Wayne, Lois Lane and Clint Barton. :)
