Okay, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is finally here! I plan on going next week on Bargain Day to see this foundation of the DCCU. I chose a profile icon to celebrate Clark and Bruce, even though they probably won't say a civil word to each other in the entire movie. I'll probably replace it with a Wonder Woman icon soon, as she is emerging as the best thing in this film. Wouldn't it be a kick if a Wondy movie actually saved DC's bacon after they took 76 years to present her on the big screen in a live-action flick?

I won't be reading any reviews until Tuesday, but go ahead and write them! I plan on checking back after I've written my own. Hopefully this movie will be better than we think. Huzzah for the World's Finest! :)

My fannish project for 2009 is to re-organize my links pages. One of those details will be to put the date of posting next to the story title. All 2009 stories will have those dates, and I'll gradually add the dates to the previous years as well, doing a little at a time.

The Potpourri Page will see major changes. Previously I just added links in order of posting, but I'm going to collect them into sections by pairing. I would have done it earlier, but my OCD was pretty insistent that I keep doing it the first way, and if anyone out there has OCD, you know what a struggle the tiniest details can be! *exhausted*

And, finally, the Steve/Diana stories will be soon getting a new page of their own as they're growing by leaps and bounds! I won't correct the old links, but put up a notice on Potpourri that links from 2009 will be at the new page, and older links will be there as well, but you have to take a little extra step to get there. I just couldn't face changing all those old links! ;)

So, I doubt these changes will come fast, but they will be gradual. Just something I decided to do for 2009. :)

Well, it's nice to be just about all caught up on archiving fiction. My usual pattern is 1) Post to my LJ, 2) Post to appropriate LJ community (either WF or We_Love_Dick), 3) Post to Superman/Batman Archive, and 4) Post to WWOMB.

The Wonderful World of Makebelieve Archive has every fandom you can imagine! Or close to it, anyway. :) I also like both WWOMB and S/B allowing readers to give reviews, and the read count on each story is gratifying. I've had over 70 viewings on some stories over on WWOMB! "Bright Laughter", my Clark/Dick fic, has 34 people eyeballing it already! And I just posted it yesterday! I was pleased to see the Batman/Robin fic, "Light To The Dark", get 71 viewings so far. More people tend to comment on my S/B fic on my journal and on WF so it's nice to see the other pairings get some action. ;)

I guess I'm just an archivist at heart! :)
