Hi, luvs! Tomorrow 'tis Yule, so a merry day to those who celebrate the Winter Solstice. Of course, it's also the End of the World as predicted by the Mayans, except the Mayans had no idea about Leap Year so we were supposed to end months ago. Ah, well. I'll check back in on the 22nd and see if we're all still here. ;)

Congratulations to Miss Olivia Culpo, Miss Rhode Island, who won the Miss Universe crown last night! New England girls don't get the crown in these things too often, so major kudos to her! :)

A quick reminder that the 2012 DCU Fic/Art Angels Challenge ends on December 31st and there will be no grace period since the Challenge has been up all year. Every year that I do these Challenges here on LJ I always plan on Valentine's Day and Halloween. Halloween will always be hosted by me as long as I'm here, but I'll see how Valentine's Day goes this year. The last few years have been a tad disappointing for participation so I'll evaluate as I do for the Winter Holidays Challenge every year.

I might do something different for spring or will continue with the Dick Grayson Challenge as there is renewed interest for Bruce/Dick on Tumblr and so might match up. Anyway, the two Challenges for certain for 2013 will be Valentine's Day and Halloween. You might see quickie Challenges or year-long or six-month Challenges, depending on what I feel like doing. I appreciate people's support in participating and also reading/viewing entrants' works and commenting! If you comment, they will come. :)

Hi, luvs! I'm eagerly awaiting the Patriots/Texans game tonight. Should be a good game! It's on ESPN and locally, on our ABC affiliate. This is an important game for Tommy and the boys. If they win, they can inch closer to either a one or two seed and get that bye week to rest up. I'll have a full report tomorrow. :)

clexmas Gift Exchange: It's all set to be handed in on December 20th. The mods will post for us and then the big reveals will be in January.

WFGE: First draft written. I just need to edit/type now, which I started today.

Bruce/Dick Small Gifts Exchange: Not written yet but I've got ideas. Good, because I need to have it done by December 28th, if that date's approved. :)

They'll probably cross over with my 2012 DCU Fic/Art Silver Bells Winter Holidays Challenge and saavikam77's 2012 DCU Free_For_All Winter Holidays Challenge.

I'm also working on the fic that was won for the fandomaid auction, so the rest of the year should be busy! Also, expect updates on Rainbow's Freedom that will inch us closer to the finale. :)
