It's a wonderfully sunny day, which is appropriate as it's the Summer Solstice! Whoo hoo! :)

Funny how it's now entering the darker half of the year when it's summertime, but the days will start to shrink after today. Every day is a gift, right?

For all you Clex fans out there, the clexmas Spring Fling! Reverse Bang has closed art submissions, but now it's time for the writers, vidders and music mixers to get busy! The Bang is open to all versions of the Clex, not just Smallville, so if you've got ideas from comics, cartoons, or movies, you can use those, too!

Congrats to Cleveland sports fans for a 52-year championship drought in ANY sport ending last night as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the National Basketball Association's Championship Series. It's a sweet feeling, isn't it? :)

Just got back from the eye doctor with a clean bill of health. Always a little nervous, y'know, because...eyes! So I am very relieved. Wearing dark glasses while my eyes are dilated. :)

Hope everyone is having a good Earth Day. The weather here was very spring-like. I did my part by cleaning my apartment and sorting my recycling. :) I also took long walks and observed the buds on the trees and bushes.

'Tis also Evacuation Day, the day in 1776 when the British scooted out o' Boston when the cannons dragged all the way from Fort Ticonderoga in the middle o' winter were placed atop Dorchester Heights. Suffolk County employees have the day off, and any state employees across the great state of Massachusetts may work and take the time off or get nice, green money instead. Ah, a fine day, a fine day, lads 'n' lasses! ;)

Still stressed this week but I hope that a major worry gets resolved in my favor. *hope, hope, hope* Maybe my creative juices will start to flow again once some stress is gone.

I am working on a long WIP at the moment, and still no idea about any Big Bangs this year. I'm hoping that Avengers 2: The Age Of Ultron helps inspire me in a few months. I'm not sure if the Superman vs. Batman movie will do the same, but that might be next year, anyway? Whatever the case, I think Marvel has the better chance of jump-starting my creative battery cables. ;)

I did have another WIP that was going along pretty well until it fell by the wayside. Hopefully I can pick that up in 2015. We shall see.
